Dubai Comedy Festival

In 2020, Brag partnered with DTCM and Live Nation to bring back the Dubai Comedy Festival after a long hiatus. Since then, year after year, we have taken the festival to great heights, inviting some of the world’s funniest men and women to perform in prime venues across the city. With thousands of festival-goers attending every year, the Dubai Comedy Festival has become a milestone event in the city’s entertainment calendar.

Going from a 4-day event in 2020, the festival has grown to become a 10-day comedy extravaganza. In the past 4 years, comedy superstars such as Mo Amer, Michelle Wolf, Gad Elmaleh, Mo Gilligan, Katherine Ryan, Jim Jeffries, Jimmy Carr, Bassem Youssef and so many more have all graced the Dubai Comedy Festival stages. Additionally, we molded the festival to become a hub for a more global representation of comedy. With shows being performed in English, Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, French, and Russian, we made sure the festival really reflects the multi-cultural nature of Dubai.

Running alongside the festival, we established Comedy Bizarre, a fringe comedy calendar that showcases up and coming comedians from the Emirates and around the world. This year also saw the addition of the Happy’nings calendar, where DCF helped shed light on all of the happiest events happening around Dubai, creating a concentrated dose of laughter and joy throughout the events 10-day run.

In our constant pursuit for laughs, we know that every edition of the Dubai Comedy Festival will always be even more hilarious than the last.
